The 512bit bus of the 2900 comes in handy on higher resolutions, where it still beats the 3870.

I agree. Now, let's wait for 9800GT/GTS specs.

^ I don't see a mid-range card from NVidia having anything above 256-bit memory bus width especially after seeing the 8800 GS specs.

Yeah if this is sub £100 and on par with the 512mb 3850 it'll be worth a look. Still trying to decide what I should get next. Don't tend to spend more than £100 on a gfx card if I can avoid it.

I can't load the source but if it has only half of the sp's as the G92 then I doubt it will perform as well as the 512mb HD3850. It would probably slow somewhere in between the 8600GTS and the 3850 performance wise.
