a delay of 2 days aint so bad, i only want to read the reviews anyway, im not actually in the market to splurge on this much, largely unecessary, GPU power :)
I can give you a small 3dMark Vantage preview if you want :)

This is my GTX580 SLI setup using the same NF200 bridge at PCIe 16x the GTX590 will use, and downclocked to the rumored default GTX590 clocks (607/1214/3414):

P40948 3dMarks

Not bad IMHO for a single card; now don't be fooled by the CPU clock in that screenie, both benches were run at 4.5Ghz but when I captured the screen shot, CPU-Z showed the non-turbo frequency of 1.6Ghz :p I believe at 4.5Ghz the CPU shouldn't be too much of a bottleneck

You can compare it to a GTX580 SLI running at default clocks (772/1544/4000):

P47316 3dMarks

You can expect this card to be around 85% as fast as a GTX580 SLI setup

Samsung is Korean and they will actually get more business due to the quake.
Maybe so but the lcd, led 3d screens are made in Japan,Along with the memory sub pcb parts. They said 40% of the tech industry is located in Japan,if you guys are going to flop $799 on this card or anything in the next few weeks Do it,They could go up $100 in price. That also includes cell phone,I pad ,I phones ect ect .....So we could see also some delays in AMD AM3+ launch too ,the high end caps certain mobo manufactures use all located in Japan.:banghead:

that seems in the ball park,But why Nvidia down-clock that much,Wonder if the overclock headroom will be there with their power caps?

These are the rumored clocks quoted by most websites, but nothing's set on stone until cards hit the market.

Anyway, I don't think there's gonna be much headroom for OCing, as two GF110s on a single PCB may already be pushing both the thermal dissipation and PCIe spec power limits at these clocks...

Try 3Dmark11 maybe?

GTX590 clocks:

P8723

GTX580 SLI clocks:

P10747

The scores are aprox. 19% appart, almost the same ratio as the Vantage scores... :wtf:

Was just trying to help ppl get a glimpse of what the GTX590 performance may be based on readily available GTX580 SLI benchmarks by giving an aproximate percentage factor, this may give you a vague idea of what to expect based on a single synthetic benchmark, of course, gaming performance may be another story.

It's not about the "f*cked up" scores as you mention, your comment there almost comes off as trolling... :shadedshu

Thanks for the comparison ,can't wait for the reviews,i won't upgrade now untill 6xx series ,maybe another year or 2. need a 1500 watt psu for a pair of these anyway, and the bells an whistles, lol.and you can expect the odd troll, doesn't require physx, so will flame those that enjoy the extra's like myself.just because i can,FLAME ON!

I can tell you that one of the major Canadian retailers has them sitting in the warehouse, retail price is currently set at $749.99, cost being ~$100 less.
