Just a few days ago AMD finally released its Mecha HK-2207 (aka Mecha Rampage) DirectX 11 real-time demo to the wide public. And it seems that our favorite Nvidia PR person already has something to say about it. "Just tested Mecha Rampage demo and I'm very disappointed. It should be DX11 tech demo, but it looks like DX8/9"

Not very good if an nVidia PR person can't see the difference between DX11 and DX8... Maybe they should hire someone who can?

Subbed! I'm at work right now and can't view it due to firewall restrictions.

I just looked at the demo. As stupid as his comments are overall, he's right that it looks like shit. I usually find tech demos and 3dmark stuff awful to look at but this is just effortless. If they wanted to impress they should have released one of their photo realistic raytracing demos. With the higher memory size on these cards it'd probably be workable.

I've only ran the demo on my 5870, a DX11 card, and I will say it does look like crap. Even the lava demo(9700 i believe) from back in the day looks better.
