So does this mean the last amd beta driver is the Nv driver? Im confused because in dxd mode i can pull over 200fps but mantal is only getting about half that.. I guess i scored woohoo

I call it BS, and I wouldnt believe it until I see some benchmarks from some reputable websites, like TPU.

Lol imo all sites are bias one way or other.. Only site i trust is my own in house testing lol but i hear ya.. Tpu is one of the better ones by far.

@fullinfusion yeah, same, most of the time the results that I see on websites is not what I get at home, so I better just do it myself, or go watch a random kid on youtube that has done the run himself and recorded it with a potato...

Last time Nvidia say = Nvidia do, so i didn't see any point to not believe in this, their graphics of performance were always near the truth so i just happy that they are always do(not try), they do stay at the top.

Mantle is picking up speed. I don't believe that just through driver updates NVidia can surpass a low-level API like Mantle but if they can then NVidia's been hampering performance on their GPUs which is absolute garbage.

Ah, but you miss the fact that developers were bugging Microsoft to do something about DirectX. I expect early adoption due to this, but also because DX12 is backwards compatible, so a developer can use the nice low level features that most any card out now can benefit from, but they can ensure that it still runs on existing hardware. So to see FULL benefit may be sometime after, but the immediate effects will be good for us too.

since its based on DX11, a patch to the game should enable the performance boosts too.

i'm expecting games like BF4 and other big name titles to get the patch, to try and boost flagging sales after they've been out a while.
