I think there are two GPUs on that card. On the smaller board, you can see some RAM. This is interesting. One strong GPU for computation and Cuda related stuff and another smaller GPU to handle the actual outputs?

Yeah I do too... seems to me to be a typical NVIDIA move... Maybe something to do with CUDA though. Oh well... A bit disappointing coming from Adobe :(

I think cause CS5 finally makes full use of Cuda, and therefore is much more efficient (?) or powerful (?) on Quadro than on Firepro.

I could be wrong but that is what I thought was happening.

Edit:
In order to harness the power of GPU, Adobe took one step back, though. Unlike the OpenGL effects Adobe was using in Creative Suite 4, resulting in sub-optimal acceleration for some GPUs, Premiere Pro CS5 is being built using nVidia CUDA software architecture. Yes, this singlehandedly gives the Adobe CS5 market to nVidia but given the share of nVidia Quadro boards versus ATI FirePro - we can't say we're surprised.

I don't think Abode did everything on their own, probably have the help from NVIDIA dev team.

Beside did anyone notice this?

iMac was famous in creative industry.
Apple use HD4800 series for their lastest Mac.

Apple hate Adobe.

Adobe's siding with NVIDIA.
