in 2018 there was speculation whether Turing was to be named 11xx or 20xx. In the end it turned out to be 20xx.

Now with this emphasis on 21 from Nvidia's tweet. I am speculating the new series will be called 21xx.

2190, 2180Ti, 2180 and etc.

I mean RTX is still RTX. Nothing revolutionary so far over RTX so the 30xx naming really does not make a ton of sense.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

If you look at their twitter page, 21 days. 21 years. In 21 days, that is August 31. On August 31, 1999 (21 years ago), Nvidia announced their first GeForce GPU, the GeForce 256 which was later released on October 11, 1999.
