Wanna make a difference? Crash the crypto market.

This reminds me of those people who think some 1 or 2 votes in an election changes things. This guy clearly lives in a dream world.

Funny how many have little more to say then "stop throwing stones at Nvidia"

Not a balanced view that, yeh the titles trolly.

We are not all-in the same boat here remember.

Some of you defender's had either the luck or fortune to get a card or you likely wouldn't be as happy.

MSRP.
CMP

There's plenty to think Nvidia's acted slimey about if you're looking.

Now that is better.
I still think it is China , miners eating up all the stock ..
Nvidia making a killing from every end.
I wonder if they took a few billion and made more fab shops to actually stock the market then they would not post any profits to there share holders forcing a change in the CEO.
This is the only reason I can see to keep the market so low stocked as to cause huge and massive price increases for crap!

What, say who's fabs now.
Nvidia own no production fabs.

Making a massive complex GPU on a poorly yielding node and process is what killed supply that and selling to miner's directly out the back door pre AIB even.

Well whatever some thing should and has to change or there is not going to be much for the computer industry other than CPU/GPU combos But even that has it's own issues.

You live, work, do whatever you do and die for some things that have been set in stone for decades. Sure, you can go ahead and climb up on a mountain and yell how many things in this world are wrong. Think you'll be able to achieve some kind of nirvana? You're fooling yourself.

Oh and, thanks for being the well expected, nice commentator here by mentioning my own self as if it is really on-topic.

I think you should just go back to that Discord of yours where you get pumped up over pointless material items.

So while you say nay I say Yay when talks end fights begin just remember that. Things only change if WE change them.

Well the matter of fact here is the GPUs costing $1000 while they should only cost $200. This practice is done thanks to some million people. Of course doing the right to each individual's own would help make the world a better place. But, it's a bad world over all, you know. 1.000.000 people's market > 100 people's market. That's how the stocks roll.

This is not just a case with GPUs but with pretty much any item. You're living bound to Dollars, Yens, Euros or whatever it is and how much it changes on a daily basis. Unless you have the power to change this, what you say ain't gonna do much at all.

Only ONE thing, DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY INTO IT.
Simple if they take out enough of the market they force there own death.
In other words if enough people said enough is enough there could be a change but not with just us here.

We aren't buying Nvidia, that's basically the whole problem
You cannot find the units to buy except occasionally
most of what is available is Overpriced and by People refereed to as Scalpers
that Over the top high price puts off all but the determined to have one at any price.

Stone breaks and erodes, just need enough momentum to gain traction. Are you saying that people can't change things? Are you saying we all should give up when something has been the same way for years? There's been plenty of companies forced to make changes when there's enough people with enough force.

Oh and, you're welcome. I think you should actually check out the discord before you make petty assumptions over pointless arguments.

Lets have some more "Ngreedia" threads, that will certainly improve the content on this site /s.
Always Nvidia hate, never Radeon hate. As if they don't both prosper on mining purchases, have minimal control over the street price, and aren't both supply locked due to chip shortage.

Stay on topic. If you want to go off-topic with these pointless posts, I can mention your blues about being homeless while owning expensive GPUs.

I'm not saying people can't change things. I'm saying the power on the opposite side is above the power of joe average.

Actually there is plenty of criticism to go around and both brands get their share. And on point it is fair to criticize them for taking max profits route, they've been taking their brand upscale and have been gouging like hell for it. If you can't call a spade a spade, you have blinders on.

I know comparing ARM's reported 6.7 billion chips produced in the last quarter isn't the same as comparing chips fabbed for other companies (such as Nvidia/AMD/Intel, etc..) since I believe a lot of ARM chips are used for different IoT things. Then you need to take into consideration the construction of devices said chips go into, packaging, shipping and blah, blah, blah....

But if ARM can get 6.7 billion chip out the last quarter of 2020, would I be wrong in believing that other companies, such as Nvidia, would be having a hard time getting chip production like this (a high amount)?

I know, different fabs/methods used and so on impact the end results....it just feels hard to imagine chip shortages without believing in some of the conspiracy theories going around - like Nvidia artificially limiting chip production or holding back chips to slow overall GPU production.

But if ARM can get 6.7 billion chip out the last quarter of 2020, would I be wrong in believing that other companies, such as Nvidia, would be having a hard time getting chip production like this (a high amount)?
If you compare the Die size of ARM to NVIDIA or AMD and Transistor Count/density You might understand a little more about those numbers

Actually there is plenty of criticism to go around and both brands get their share. And on point it is fair to criticize them for taking max profits route, they've been taking their brand upscale and have been gouging like hell for it. If you can't call a spade a spade, you have blinders on.
Right!
So here is the one question that everyone has: HOW THE FUCK CAN WE STOP THIS?
Answer: WE can not.
Powerless to do a thing other than post a bitch about it and call them out for being total price gouging asshole! And wait do not buy a thing from any video card maker for one full year , Bet ten bucks and a 70K truck they would be telling the China Miners to f off and find something else to use!
It would take EVERY single home /game user to stop for 1-2 years maybe even stretch it to 5 years out they would be on there knees begging for us to buy there shit then! I however do not see this happening any time soon if ever.
Could maybe ask the US congress to look into this but that would be about as useful as the other suggestions.
Basically we are at there mercy and they are providing NONE at all!

Pedantically you can call it a shovel........................:p
So is Spade a "Bad word" Now? o_O
Shove is a big word there are lots of shovels and a Spade is a digging shovel can you name another one?
