OCZ Technology Group, a worldwide leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, today announced the exciting unveiling of the PC2-9000 Ti Alpha VX2 DFI Special Edition, an exclusively engineered series of memory optimized for the new DFI LANParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R. As a member of the cutting edge OCZ Voltage eXtreme lineup, the PC2-9000 VX2 DFI Special series is custom-built for high-voltage operation and record-breaking speeds of 1120MHz on the DFI M2R motherboard.

“The OCZ PC-5000 Platinum DFI nF4 Special edition that launched last year was a great success. The tailor-made memory concept has not only eliminated compatibility issues, it has elevated overall platform performance to the highest level. This unprecedented success has driven the two significant manufacturers in the overclocking enthusiast arena to collaborate even closer,” said Jacky Huang, General Manager, DFI Inc. “After countless cross testing and debugging, we are happy to see the DDR2 sequel is finally launching. The new OCZ PC2-9000 Titanium Alpha VX2 DFI Special is optimized for our new LANParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R enthusiast board, and together these two premium components will push your overclocking milestone beyond any other motherboard and memory solution.”

“OCZ is excited to introduce the new Titanium Alpha VX2 DFI Special which was co-developed with enthusiast motherboard partner DFI,” stated Alex Mei, VP of Marketing, OCZ Technology Inc. “Making use of our Voltage eXtreme technology, these new modules once again break the speed record with PC2-9000, and are optimized do deliver the world’s highest speeds on the latest DFI platform. By working very closely with DFI we are able to present hard-core enthusiasts with, not only the world’s fastest memory product, but also a complete platform offering—one that delivers the highest level of compatibility and performance to those consumers looking for the ultimate total overclocking solution.”

The PC2-9000 VX2 is the latest member of the OCZ Titanium Alpha series—a new line of memory that carries the industry’s highest performing DDR2 solutions. All Titanium Alpha modules feature exclusive, multicolored XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreaders implementing an innovative Titanium deposition coating process that is resistant to scratches. Each Titanium Alpha module has its own unique color scheme and displays interchanging shades depending on the lighting and angle of the heatspreader.

The PC2-9000 Ti Alpha VX2 DFI Special will be available in 1024MB Modules and 2GB (2x1024MB) dual channel kits. Furthermore, each OCZ PC2-9000 VX2 module is 100% hand-tested for quality assurance and compatibility and is backed by an industry leading OCZ Lifetime Warranty and technical support for unparalleled peace of mind.

D to the F to the I,
The price of this OCZ is gonna be high,
Not as high as when I smoke,
But when Corsair sees this, they're gonna choke.

OCZ with DFI,
When I get this I'm gonna be fly,
Not as fly as I am now,
But when Corsair looses business, they're gonna ask "How?"

Just came up w/ that in a second.
