Sadly for you: AMD Phenom II < Core i7 1366

Its not bad for AMD. AMD is just more competitive price wise with their high end/lower performance right now. I am no fanboy either. I spent a ton on AMD when they had the X2 era 939, but only to have them switch sockets on me. Damn you AM2!
