Quick question for the Guru's out in the community. I have Googled and can't seem to find the answer. :banghead:

I have got a few bucks to spend while waiting for Bulldozer to drop and was thinking about a new SSD. After a little searching, I am really interested in the OCZ RevoDrive. I can't seem to find an answer as to whether the M4A79 Deluxe supports booting from a PCIe device. Anyone know the answer?

Also, the 790FX chipset has 42 PCIe lanes, but how many are usable by the PCIe slots. In other words, would using the RevoDrive drop my Crossfire configuration from x16/x16 to x16/x8?

Thanks for your assistance guys (and girls)...If anyone has the answer, or can find it, I know it is all of you. :toast:

Do note that motherboards on that list have been confirmed to be able to boot off the RevoDrive.
Motherboards not on the list HAVE NOT been confirmed not to be able to boot.

So, it might still be worth a shot for you. If you buy via newegg, you can return. You will lose the restocking fees 915%) though.
