OCZ's new Trion 100 SSD is built around brand-new TLC NAND chips from Toshiba, using a Toshiba TC58 controller. Thanks to TLC technology, the drive competes with Crucial BX100 in pricing, which is less than 40 cents per gigabyte.

Hey look it's an OCZ SSD with firmware issues! Well, at least they can't really be blamed, since it's Toshiba's controller, which means it's actually Phison's controller, which isn't great.

From the conclusion of the review:
However, given that the BX100 is cheaper, significantly faster and has no stalling issues, the BX100 would be my drive of choice if price matters.

So basically, like many others, this SSD is completely obsolete on day 0.

Benchmark Scores IT WORKS
Because of compression performance evaluation should be 6,0~6,5, not 8,0

And because of slow performance and TLC memory it would be great disk if it cost 140 USD

A drive with broken firmware that causes 2 minute hangs and it get 8/10?
I had a similar issue with ZIF 1,8inch ssd which was a replacement for broken drive for my vaio TX5 and it made the device unusable...

BTW anyone remember vaio TX5? It was a 11 inch with core solo and dvd drive. it cost like 2500$ and way before the netbook era

Just realized that these charts have comparative figures for the Samsung 850 EVO and 850 Pro lines, however I do not believe I have seen full reviews of these two units. @W1zzard , are these coming soon? I am curious about comparatively against the Crucial MX200, which you would prefer right now.

I was thinking the same, any drive that did that would not get any kind of approval from me unless it was just a faulty drive which shit happens.
