There`s a little bit of hype about ssds but there`s no denying boot-up is totally faster

Great deal, I paid $150 for my X25-V and it's amazingly speedy.

It's not just the speed. I value peace and quiet and these things are silent. I just bought the vertex 2 120gb and windows 7 loads up quicker than bios. Shuts down in under 5 seconds.

My next build will be nothing but ssd.

My first SSD was cheapass Kingston 64GB SSD I picked up for 119 CAD months ago ...
    I was blown away.

Since then I purchased 4 more SSDs and put each of them in every system I own except for crunchers.
