You're going to be dissapointed if you expect other games to look as good as crysis, even with dx10. Crysis has the best fps graphics by far, it can be difficult to go back to older or less polished games after playing crysis.
That depends, I really didn't like Crysis or how it implemented it's gameplay into the FPS genre, it was fun for a couple hours, beyond that, to me at least...nothing more than eye candy that was better to watch than to play. But if you wanna play super-Rambo in the future with a sweet uber-future combat suit, it's definately the way to go hands down. The game does look very good and to this day shows us what games can and will look like more often than not in the future, but at the same time it was dissapointing gameplay-wise...it just never hooked me. Gameplay is by and far the first preference for many, including myself, extra goodies like graphics and DX versions are bonuses. A game isn't worth anything if it's not fun to the person playing it, good graphics or not.
