Why not put your weapon in single shot mode, cloak around and get a clear shot at their heads, then shoot, take their gun, back in cloak and next go for the next kill? Its what I did haha.

we only got the DX9 version here, so i felt ripped off. The game was very linear but fun.

The way it split between the two characters is good and bad... it depends on the person if you like it or not. ones a gunslinger and ones a stealth/puzzler.

Clear Sky was really nice in DX10, however it was really burtal (20fps average) on my 9800GT. No AA, everything else was maxed out (except grass, that was turned all the way down... hate that shit, turning grass down helps you to see a lot better). 1440x900. This was with my Athlon 64 x2 5200+ at 2.8GHz and my memory at 960MHz.

Stalker Clear Sky can be run with 10.1 as well.

Although it ran crap on my 4850 crossfire setting at max, whereas my gtx295 kept 60fps over when at max settings.

10.1 is known to be absolute murder. 10.1 cannot be run on the gtx295, I think it's an ati only thing

10.1 is ATI only. 10.1 provides AA better than 10.0 (post processing and AA can be done at the same time, this is why many DX10 titles have no working AA)

10.1 also does AA faster than 10.0, sometimes called "free" AA.

DX10.1 on stalker actually helped my FPS when I turned AA on. Looks absolutely beautiful too.

what , how i have 4870 and the dx10.1 with max AA kill the performance , drop FPS with me form 30 to 14

I have an X2, Crossfire scales VERY well with Stalker. You should grab another 4870, your performance in stalker will almost double :toast:

Also turn off sun shafts and SSAO, they will really hurt your FPS as well while providing very little visual improvement. Then when it rains enjoy the amazing rain mapping :rockout:
