Hi all

Here it is, I have a E8500 @ 3.80 and a HD 4890.

Do I, buy another PSU and another 4890 or a quad core CPU.

Bad Company 2, decent FPS looking at the ground gives me more. To me that says the GPU is holding me back.

Which one should I buy? By the way I cant buy a new MOBO, CPU and RAM.

sell the 4890 and get a 5850 or a 5870 .... ;) ...

EDIT: if you're going to get a quad its better to go with the new tech ... an i5 or i7 ... but your current C2D will do great in gaming ...
and your current PSU will be sufficient for a 5870 (recommended is a 500W) .. but its better to get a 600W PSU just to be on the safe-side ...

I'd get a 5850 or a 5870 too. But from what I've heard BC2 is a pretty cpu intensive game and uses more cores well, but I can't comment on that since I haven't experienced it on quads.

Your proc is good to go. I'd say sell the 4890, get a 5850/5870.
