As some of you's know, I had a problem with my ATI Radeon Express Driver for Windows 7. I downloaded the Vista 32 bit, nothing. Then I downloaded for the helluva it the 64 bit version, nothing. Then I tried the XP 32 Bit, nothing. I'm lost. Everything else works, like the catalyst control center (even though it won't open), it still installed, but then I get this.

I know, Its the right driver, the file is named "9-3_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu)

Here are my Laptop Specs:
AMD Athlon x2 TK-53
ATI Radeon Express 1150
80 gig
2 gig Ram

Try getting the Vista driver from the laptop manufacturer.

EDIT: ATI also advices this on their site for laptops.

Um, I checked real quick, the Radeon Express 1150 you mention is a faster Express 1100 which is a Mobility Radeon x300. The x300s aren't supported for win7 according AMDs download section; however it appears in the list if I click for XP 32bit.

Now... what driver exactly did you download.

I downloaded three.

I went to AMD's site, and went to ATI, then to Integrated/Motherboard, Radeon Express 1150

1. Windows Vista 32 bit. Fail.
2. Windows Vista 64 bit. Fail.
3.Windows XP 32 Bit. Fail.

They don't have the Radeon Express under anything except Integrated/Motherboard.

Yes, and they don't list that card on the win7 sections, that is the problem my friend.
Its highly likely that the drivers designed for Vista/XP won't work on 7. Thats why they made a win7 section, even tho that OS is still RC. My thoughts on that...

Here is the problem: The first official Win7 driver from ATi was 9.4, oddly enough this was also the first driver that ATi dropped support for all cards pre-HD2000. This means that ATi will essentially never release drivers that support your card for Win7. This is really just a crappy way for ATi to get people with perfectly good cards to buy new cards when transitioning to Win7...

What you might try doing is downloading the latest Win7 drivers from AMD's site, then running mobility modder on them to add support for your card, then install the drivers. I haven't tested this, but it might work.

Oh I won't laugh. I have seen places running dial up connections where it really shouldn't be.
Like a three star hotel...

Thats bad. The only reason I have it is because I live in the country and it isn't available yet....

It gets the job done, but no videos, or picture threads for me lol.
