I was wondering if these boards are worth any money or even look like their worth working on.
Apologies if this goes against any of the thread policies.

Edit: I found 2 more circuit boards, unsure of what I should be taking pictures of.

That top slot looks like an AGP slot. You would be hard pressed to find a AGP card that works with Windows 7 much less 10.

If they are fully working they are worth something (no guesstmate as to value) to the Nostalgic crowd.

Oh trust me I was not expecting much for them :p
They are older circuit boards, I might have to just give them away if I am honest.
I do have a few more too, I just did not have enough space to post them all.

Don't you have some tech school or club for children, that would accept such things. Learn to assemble these things, maybe even service? That would be my idea.

I should have a look, that is a great idea. Maybe get a couple of bucks out of it, even if its 5$ for all of them.

I don't know about 10. But 7 isn't a problem(I have 2 AGP cards that work with 7). I assume they'll also work just fine on 10 with 7 drivers. They will almost certainly work on 10 with standard VGA drivers(or possibly with drivers from Windows Update). The bigger problem is finding a motherboard that has an AGP slot and supports a processor that will run 7 or 10. Which can be done. Easier with 7 than 10. But there are hacks to get 10 running with non-supported processors(customized installers that will skip the NX bit check and such).

What Video cards do you have? Do you play modern games? Just wondering I haven't owned a AGP card in like 10 years.

And HD 4650 1GB and an HD 3850. I haven't used the 4650 for gaming yet. But I finished Dead Space 3 with the HD 3850(most modern game I've tried with it see EDIT). They can play whatever you want really. It's how well they play them that presents issues. Aside from a few stutters in the cut scenes, DS3 played just fine @ 1600x1200 with the 3850. No idea on the FPS. I don't monitor that while gaming.

EDIT: I forgot I also played Spintires with the 3850 too. Which is newer than DS3. But doesn't really need much(if any) better card to run well.

EDIT 2: I also forgot that I stumbled on something very interesting in regards to AGP and older cards in general. The latest AMD drivers, for 7 and 10, appear to support a lot of Legacy cards. According to the config files. I haven't tested that though. I was looking in there for something else and noticed the following(from the latest W10 64 driver config file):

I'm not sure when they started doing that. But it didn't used to be like that. That's snipped from the list of card identifiers. Which represent what software(such as GPU-Z) will show the card as when drivers are installed. And it's kind of big news if that turns out to actually be the case. Compatible drivers for older cards(especially AGP) and newer OSs are(or possibly were) getting harder to find these days. AMD may have solved that problem.

EDIT 2: I suppose they aren't hard to find for anything except W10 with a card older than the HD 5000 series(you can still download drivers from AMD for almost any ATI/AMD card for OSs prior to 10, though not all cards can run on all OSs). And I don't know for sure if all 7 drivers will work on 10. I believe I have tried some with my 280X and they did. At any rate, they seem to have added Legacy support(for W7 & W10 64-bit) starting with Adrenaline. I just checked the latest ReLive drivers and they don't have what's shown above. And I tried installing them on W7 32-bit with my 3850 AGP...and surprise surprise…they didn't install. Looked like they did...but they didn't. Anyway, as per my post below, I'm going to grab a Legacy PCI-E card and try the latest W7 64-bit Adrenaline drivers. Looking at getting an HD 4870 2GB 4890 1GB. Which, in theory, should work with the latest AMD drivers on 7 or 10(64-bit only). We'll see. I need the card anyway. Since I don't have one that will fit in the mATX case it's(P4i945GC) going in. And I couldn't really care less what card it is. I don't intend to do any gaming with it(but I might, and if I had to I could throw it in a bigger case and use my 280X or Vega 64 anyway). I just refuse to do onboard graphics on any of my systems.

Unfortunately they are 15 - 35 for working boards :'). These boards of not been used for years.

I remember that there was only one rule. AGP bsod using more than one core on modern OS/driver. Othervise it ran fine. I have a HD2600 too... In a pentium 3 + i815.

Well...I know for sure that doesn't apply to logical cores. Because both of my AGP cards run just fine with a hyper-threading P4 on W7.

BTW see the edit in my last post. I don't see why they would bother supporting these older cards on 7/10, when they'd almost certainly be running them with multi-core processors(logical and/or physical). And no, I'm not saying your wrong. You might be right. At least to some extent. I don't really know. I'll find out more soon when I get my P4i945GC(should be here in about a week). Then I can install my 64-bit capable SL7Q8 P4 with W7 64-bit and try out the latest drivers with my AGP cards. Time will tell. I'll start a new thread for sure if it works out the way I hope(with the latest drivers actually supporting them). Wait. Never mind. Brain fart. That thing has PCI-E, not AGP. And I don't have a Legacy PCI-E card. I could buy one though. Hmmmmm...yep...I think I actually will. So...yeah...I'll still be finding out yay or nay on the drivers. Now...which old PCI-E AMD card am I going to get? That is the question. Off to ebay I go...

EDIT: Just grabbed a VisionTek HD 4890 OC Edition for $36.97 shipped. So we'll see how that plays out. :)
