old RAID 0 on new mobo?

Storage 250gb seagate sata, 2x250gb seagate perp (raid0)
Display(s) dell 24"

I was just thinking about this, so I thought I'd ask -

Is it possible to preserve data on an existing Raid-0 2-HD setup when installing the drives to a new mobo?

Audio Device(s) Onboard- Why get an sound card when you can hum??
Power Supply Antec NeoHe 550-manufactured by seasonic -replacement to the discontinued smart power series
Software Windows XP pro SP2 -- vista is still crap
depends, raid is specific to a raid controller, you'd need the same controller in order for the raid to work. switching your raid controller would render your raid 0 disks useless.

so if I want to preserve all data I need to find a new mobo w/ the same onboard Matrix Raid controller then?

Any other concerns?

yes that should work i believe. ask banjo, hes an expert w/ raid.

also you can ghost the hdd and stuff and then restore it back when you have the new raid set up
