There is a weekend event on FB for 2412 https://www.facebook.com/events/568077503230356/ i havent played 2142 in a long time so im going to give it a go and hopefully there will be at least a cpl populated servers going strong.

Anyone else want to go back to the future and hook up and play 2142 together?

All I had to do was create a desktop shortcut and add +widescreen 1 in the target field.

It looks like this:

"E:\Origin Games\Battlefield 2142 Deluxe\BF2142.exe" +widescreen 1

Uninstalled it, can't be arsed with the retarded password recovery. I can log into my EA/origin account fine, I even dl'd BF3 off my origin account and it works fine, but 2142 try password recovery and get, there is a system error try contacting ea support, Can't be arsed to piss about like that. Why cant I just use my origin log in to play it.

I installed from my disc and downloaded the 1.51 update, but when I try to install it.. It tells me I'm all ready on a new version... I'm on 1.40... :banghead:

I remember now why I use to hate ea.. I remember a page where I put my keys in for veteran, but the only one it took then was BF2.. It told me the other ones were all ready registered.. :banghead:

I installed from origin, when I ran 2142 it said there was an update, so it minimized 2142 and then did nothing.

I might have another go later but I don't know if I can be arsed to contact them to sort it out.

You have to install 1.50 THEN 1.51 and those two patches only.
