Benchmark Scores | I only game on this system... built for silence, not absolute max performance. ;) |
Hey fellow TPU enthusiasts!
I promised that I'd come up with some kind of competition for the forum over the weekend, but I am struggling to come up with a format that everyone might enjoy. I figured it would therefore be best to ask what benchmarks you'd like to see in the competition. That way it is more of a community thing rather than just me making the choices.
Let's include AMD in this as well... so I think we should limit to 775 and Phenom II quad cores. That'll make the playing field much more accessible for many players.
Let me know what you think. I'm all ears at this point.
I'd like to know a few things from you guys;
What sort of a time frame are we after?
Cooling limitations? Maintain >0c ambient and water/air temps?
Core speed limitations?
Compare single/dual/quad scores by dividing the end score by 'x' where 'x' is the amount of cores in multi-threaded benchmarks?
Help me out a little, guys! Let's get this party started!
