hello all,
first post here. i am suspecting something might be going on with my OpenCL so i am hoping to ask the hive mind here.

here's some system info and a screen shot of GPU-Z for my GPU (1060). what seems odd is OFF status of OpenCL:

I installed and tried to run GeekBench 5.1.1 and CompuBench 2.0 and they both go silent after the initial "splash" screen.
I have the latest NVIDIA driver and my system is up to date. Everything seems "normal", even dxdiag mentions "no problems":

I'm not even sure how to test this, but it feels like OpenCL is "broken".

I would very much appreciate any help.
Cheers,
Mihai

Might be worth using DDU to completely remove the Nvidia drivers then reinstall them freshly, that might sort it.

I came here to say DDU, didn't have to.

Uninstall the Intel driver, check out that makes a difference, in the past intel is what caused most of the crashes

thank you everyone.
uninstalling the intel driver seems to restore that check box for OpenCL. it also allowed compubench to run.
windows seems to want to install the latest version, i hope this won't cause the issues again.

also the app that got me here in the first place (opencl parts of imagemagick cmd line) now runs properly.

thanks for the suggestion. any idea what i could do if this resurfaces after i install the intel driver(s) again?

Use an older/newer Intel driver, and report the issue to back to them. This is 100% a bug in their drivers, resurfaces from time to time
