    unless your an audiophile that Y adapter wont be any better than the dynex one they sell at BBY. With that being said unless you got a mic you are plugging in to check your ears probably can't even here the difference.

    Like CD said you probably will not notice the difference. Although it would help to know what gear your using.

    I use the LFE connection in my case as it offeres unfiltered so it's the sound from the AV and not altered by the sub.

    Best way is to turn off your sub and setup the speakers up till your happy with the sound then setup the sub to match.

    True but depends on what gear he has which he has not said yet. He dont even say what connection he uses now.

    What model ?.. Any chance of a pic of the rear of the unit ?. If you have a LFE on the rear use that as it will take a little strain of the amp as it will only have to produce the low end sounds then. Although this depends on how your source is setup too.
