Optical mouse pad

Hi,

What color pad would be best for optical mouse? I've got high contrast various color pad and experience frequent mouse jumps especially when gaming. That is annoying.

Use something with low amount of texture with a uniform colour scheme. My mouse works fine with my table, but fails on my friend's goliathus.

black or dark color pad runs well for most mouse, fabric based pad would nice too, you dont need to spend much for pad. my old $2 pad still run well
btw jump mouse just on gaming or it repeatly on daily use? if its on gaming i guess its not from the pad, could be from setting or the game itself
