Hi Guys, long time no see,
So ive Ordered Adata Su650 on Amazon but Got Kinston A400 240Gb instead. Both are priced 35$ here. Currently im using Transcend SD370, still Performing Good.
So i tried to Benchmark Kinston A400, these are the Result i got. Are these Good for that Price. My Main Purpose is Gaming. I havent bought samsung because it costs higher as 65$ here and second it just gives 1 second benefit so i can live. So is it worth replacement to ADATA SU650 ? Is that benchmark Good?

IMO you still should do something about that transaction as seller sent you different product than you ordered, no matter what performance/tech specification it is.

I'm wondering what would you do if seller would sent you fridge instead of ssd. Joke of course but you never know with marketplace sellers.

Keep it it's a faster drive than the adata SU650 240gb.

the question is not whether it's a better product, the seller made a mistake and you can get a partial refund for your trouble, even if you keep it. Although very rare with amazon, stuff happens. Did you test it's smart attributes to check usage time to verify it's new?

Thanks everyone for reply, means lot for me.
Yes i can confirm its brand new and was sealed product. However what i dont like is if i apply for replacement i need to wait for more 3 4 days. But thats another part, first i want to know is it worth to wait, is it better or bad. Even if its better im gonna report that seller and with 0 star feedback.

That's not cool, especially if you didn't even try to contact the seller. It's honest mistake and you are not worse now. If you really didn't want that SSD, you shouldn't had open the sealed package.
Yea but im thinking to use it, unless i found that adata is better. You dont know these Indian Delhi sellers, i often get scammed by them about 6 times out of 10. I wont feel bad if he get opened package, he should have idea to whom he sending product. Thats his punishment. And thats punishment of making me wait for a week for wrong product.(but still replacement rule is item should be in good and working condition)Next time he would think twice while sending wrong product. But like i said they mostly are scammers.

I would agree if the seller had sent the right SSD. Really, I think the Honey is doing the seller a favor by actually seeing if the subbed product will do.

To the OP: If the performance meets your goals, I would keep it but I would push for a partial refund from the seller just to set the precedent that sending me what I didn't order has consequences. All of this is predicated with the seller knew what they were doing and it was deliberate.

Another thing to think about warranty. I don’t know the warranrty policy in your country, but say if the drive dies 3 months from now and you try to claim warranty with Kingston, but your receipt shows a purchase of Adata drive, that is not going to work

That's fraud. You either ask to send back the wrong product or use the replacement that has the same parameters. Keeping the product but asking for partial refund as "punishment" is not an acceptable practice. Especially when combined with threats of "zero stars". It's the risk of buying online, don't like it, go to a real store and pick up the product with your hand.

Because of people behaving like this, the rest of us end up paying more, because sellers will up the price to cover this kind of loses.

See, talking helps solving the issue. Now you have warranty and peace of mind.

It's not fraud if it is covered by buyer protection and agreed upon for partial refund due to sending the wrong product in the first place. That's why it's partial, because you decided to keep it anyway.

IMHO, if it's a slightly faster drive for the same $35, and the seller is willing to provide a corrected invoice for warranty purposes, I would call it a "no harm, no foul" situation and be done with it :D

No need to cause yourself or the seller any additional headaches in this case. If the seller had not replied, been uncooperative, or said F.U., then that would be a different story altogether....

And lets face it, honest mistakes do happenz every now & then....

Apparently you missed the entire part about it being predicated on the seller doing this on purpose. Also, it is not bad practice asking the seller for a partial refund because they didn't send you what you asked for. It's called compensation for your time. You now have to research this product to see if it is worth keeping to avoid going through the hassle of all this returning stuff. If you do have to return it, you now have to go through the hassle of driving things around and dropping stuff off and waiting for something that you likely needed - again.

Again, since you missed it the first time. The suggestion was based entirely on his reply that the sellers often do this on purpose.

I agree with this, provided the new invoice is legitimate, Kingston drive gets my vote. However, I am not sure either manufacturer has good support in India. This is taken from Kingston -
