Outlook 2016 Reply view settings

Hey Guys,

The other day when I was typing or replying in some mails, I have type or click something accidentally ( I dont know ) and messed up view whenever I am replying to my mails. Now, even I click the reset view settings, its not getting back to normal.

Whenever I reply, there is a line or dot character in between words I type. And honestly, it confused me alot.

So please I need your help guys.

Thanks. but.... I cannot find the formatting marks. I will keep searching.

edit. Ok I found. I click new mail and formatting is there. But sign is different from the link you gave. atleast on mine is different symbol. (thanks MS for confusing) Anyway, all ok now and back again. Phew.

Yes, it's not simple... ctrl-shift-* turns on paragraph markers, but the options go deeper into other hidden characters. Out of curiosity I turned them on and then *many* mouse clicks later turned them off, my dialog looks like this:

...not to mention you have to access that from options while in a message and not from Outlook itself!

yup. These dialog is on new message and not outlook itself. too much hidden options ha ha. but its alright now. Experience
