Having a weird issue of outlook not displaying any of the body in most emails, and only the first line or so in others.

If I ctrl-a/c and paste somewhere I can see the text. And if I click around the blank space and hit a link it opens correctly. Font is set to display as black so it's not that. I've tried enabling and disabling hardware acceleration. Emails display fine in a web browser.

Thank you for posting this! I have the same issue here on one of my user's Outlook - fully up to date on 2104, blank messages started this afternoon. Outlook is running against Microsoft 365 hosted mail. Can't find anything to explain what's going on.

I'm having the exact same issue on 4 different PC's.

Edit: Just saw this on Twitter:

Copy this exactly, and paste it in your CMD window - It is an Office update loader and worked for me.

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.13901.20462

Any known Outlook 365 issues this afternoon? : sysadmin (reddit.com)

This fixed it for me. Appears to just be rolling back to an older version (I neglected to see what version I was on, but https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-microsoft365-apps-by-date doesn't have it listed as the most current)

Microsoft have issued a fix and it should start rolling out to users. My copies are all working now (without reverting to an older version).
