I have a Wraith cooler if he wants it i can send it to him,No sense having it here doing nothing when it should be cooling some fine FX 8350 :) And yes it is a great cooler.Just needs Thermal paste on it and away she cools.
Thanks for the offer but I will buy the 212 though as it is on sale here and not too pricey. I havent gamed for a week. The stress marks are starting to show.

Being new at it. Every time you change something, test to see if it works. Makes it easier if you mess up to narrow the problem down

yes i am a noob :) it is my first pc build. All cables are going through the back the two coming through the front are not long enough for cable management. I have turned the psu downwards now
fron panel cables, mb 24pin (and with some luck 8pin for cpu too), hdd&odd cables should be long enough to go at the back (use horizontal rectangular hole just next to psu instead to try to go to the ege of the tray). this will greatly reduce mess in the case. it is ok to leave those that arnt long enough infront.
remove part of the tray that is behind 3.5" 5.25" holders (like it was in the review i've linked).
when you are done submit pictures for awe :p

In the 3rd picture you posted on page 2 it looks like a cable maybe touching one of your fans on the video card, you should move it to be safe. I have a very similar setup & the stock fan just does not cover it well for gaming.

I'd give the whole PC a good cleaning, especially cleaning out that heatsink, before wasting money on a CM 212+. If you aren't overclocking the stock heatpipe heatsink is fine for the FX-8350.

I installed the 212x and it is saying CPU fan error. BIOS shows 40 degrees temperature now. The heatsink moves slightly if I turn it

I ignored fan speed in bios and temperature is like 40 degrees now. Thanks a lot everyone and thank you computer gods.

Yes it does but don't do that. Once you get it where you want leave it alone

Hopefully it stops shutting down

Also if the fan is loud you can slow it down I the bios. 1200 rpm should be good

The fan error is probably because you have it plugged into the wrong header. Or your using a Molex. But not a big deal

you have to plug fan into cpu_fan header (in the mid of the to top edge of the board, just above cpu socket). tighten a bit the bolt that is on the top of the cpu block of the cooler to stop cooler movement. but dont over tighten it too much or you will damage socket or mb.
also check if you have placed x bracket in correct direction. there is a pin on the bracket that should fit into hole on the top of the cpu block. it will prevent cooler movement

The cooler will have some twisting movement don't worry about that. Also them template while being a lot better still seem high to me. When I was running the hyper 212'S I would idle in the lower 30's and under load be in the mid to high 40s. But as,long,as you stay out of the 60s under load your good. I always tried to aim for no higher then 55 under load. Now my 8350 oCD to 4.4 is running right around 37 under full load.

A lot of skewed info here. The Fx line ups throttle is nowhere near 65 degrees. It's the APM, AMD's power management crap that cuts voltage to the CPU and causes massive performance loss. Disable this to prevent any throttling. I've learned this doing extensive testing using Physics benchmarks. You can bring these chips up to 75 degrees without issues.

Your issue looks like the result of bad contact. Either you are not screwing down your heatsink in a "Star pattern", or you have not put your thermal paste on properly. Put a pea sized amount on your CPU and use a razor blade to spread it, not your fingers.
