Hello, during this week I have successfully overclocked my XPS430, by using the PLL. Which contains all the FSB information etc.
I used CPUCooL, and reached a stable clock of 2.71Ghz on my Q8200 which runs at 2.33Ghz stock.

    My system specifications are currently.

    Overclocking Dell XPS430

    Hi there,

I've been trying for ages to over clocking this machine without any success, I have the CPU INTEL Core2Duo E6750 2.666Mhz. I'm impressed you managed to get it O/C'd to 3.2Ghz!. Is this using stock cooler?

Can you give me some further details in order to O/C this?, can you explain the PLL type etc and how this was performed?

    Many thanks.

    Gary.

Yes this is using the Stock cooler, which did a fine job.

    The PLL is IDT CV184.
