I'm using riva tuner 2.10,my bios is modded with rbe for 1.158v in 3d mode,it has a AC S1 R2 on it.

I have'nt tried past 700 core yet though,i dont know if it will go past 700 with 1.158v,i may need to vmod it.

Have you got a 4850? its not in your sig.How it doing on the oc front?

juat reflash with modded bios, i modded my original bios with rbe, never surpass my overdrive (still cant install cat88 yet, hope cat88hf/89 can)

I figure it out guys added a Duorb to it and it will max the core in ccc 700 and do 1120 memory , using AMD gpu tool it does 725core. These cards are very good game cards from what I see even with my cpu only at 3.6ghz and using 1.5gb of crap ram i'm scoring near 15,000 in 3dmark06. I bet if I upped the voltage it would even run faster but for now it seems just fine the way it is. I'm impress this card reminds me of a 8800gtx/ 8800gts / 9800gtx etc... performance wise. I really didn't know what to exspect when I was trading my 280gtx and cash for it but it's a heck of a card and the Duorb (thought not as good as a thermalright) does a pretty good job cooling it.

max temp with ati arifacting tool 60c while oced , looping 3dmark06 at 1650x1050 with everything maxed detail and oced 49c to 54c max. These Duorbs are great for 45nm gpus anything like a 8800gtx 2900xt or bigger would melt it but for 45nm they are very good. You guys will have to post a walk through so I can mod the bios.

I am using cat 8.7,not tried 8.8 with this modded bios yet.Riva does go over 700 btw,i dont know how far it will go with the core at 1.158v but here is my score at 710/1100.

I'm just playing around with my clocks , and they are by no means stable yet and might go up or down a bit. I would think these cores could take the same voltage as 4870 cores, any idea what they are set at. Riva tuner works great currently at 720 core and testing with atitools beta 27b , just using the stressing tool.

I gotta say the Duorb has to be in the top ten gpu coolers for looks and with this type of gpu cooling performace is very good.

I think the 4870 runs at 1.2xxv but dont quote me on it.Mine ran 3d06 at 710 with my bios modded to 1.158v in high 3d mode,i suppose i should find out what the max is at that voltage.This cooler is so good though i might just vmod it.

You tried riva 2.10? its very handy with the monitor thingy.

Heres how i have modded my bios with rbe,i have not raised the ccc limit with it or modded the fan profile as i have differant cooler,all i have done is what you see on this pic.

do you flash from windows or with a cd and do you know can these gpus take the same voltage as 4870s, and i'm using riva 2.10 and and and

moving to 730 core now card hitiing mid 60's now, any idea what it can take temp wise.

I use winflash 2012,it has worked fine upto now and i have flashed it quite a few times.If you mod your bios to the same as i have mine,it should be fine.I always mod my cards original bios so the checksum stays the sam,or winflash wont flash it.If you use winflash,DO NOT restart until you get a flash successful message ok it will pop up a box saying flash succesful and you need to restart.

Can you post your cards bios so i can have a look please?

sure will as soon as I can have to help my kids do home work thx tig and it just failed at 730core so about 725 is the max on this core.

It could be not enough power if it is stock,dont forget mine is modded for 1.158v at high 3d.I dont know what they run at normally though.

I will try mine at 730 now ok.

Here you go,passed 3d06 at 730/1100,proves yours is not high enough on the vgpu.

modded the bios and it does make a difference. I cannot get it to post here how do you upload the bios to the forum? Also does riva tuner disable overdrive.

On reply its called attachments(paper clip),it needs to be zip format though,rar dont work.

I exit ccc when i am using riva tuner,i dont know if it makes a differance though.

if clock higher than overdrive limit, then overdrive no more working, so i prefer with bios mod to set limit higher, cause if using tool other than overdrive the powerplay feature doesnt work.
