It works sweetly! A CPU host speed of 444 MHz and a system memory multiplier of 2.4 :)

EDIT: I'm now getting 3.55 GHz!

What temps are you getting on cpu core and northbridge, just out of curiosity?

I'm impressed:toast:

Also have a morbid curiosity about the NB temp, can you tell us?

Same here, I didn't have to do nearly that much to get my q9450 to 3.8, 444 fsb is impossible on that. Would love to know both nb volts and temps! Of course I used 1066 ram when I did it....

It passed both Prime95 torture tests with no problems.

At the end of it, the Northbridge was at around 72' and both cores were at around 81' :toast:

You realize that that temp for the cpu is really high? I'd be afraid if it would reach high 60's, and yours are at 80+! Dayum man, cool that thing down.

Actually anoobarak, he is right on the ball with this. The e5k series were hot running chips, although thats just a tad over normal for them (~75C). Also, trust board monitoring software over speedfan. I mean, thats a really cold Temp1 sensor....

I have encountered a problem with the motherboard loosing all LAN when I run the overclock at 444Mhz. I have detailed the issue at a new thread here. Please help!

It's an E8200, Intel lists its Tcase at 72°c I understand this isn't the temp that is reported, but it is quite hot especially for these chips.

On a side note, the Wolfdale chips ran cooler and overclocked better than the Conroe chips they replaced. The E5x00 series in all my experiences ran quite cool even under mediocre coolers and a reasonable overclock.
