Hi there. I got Micron F-die RAM and wanted to ask anyone, how is it now? I had a bit of a play with it, but still looking for less latency. Does anybody know how to play with CAD Busses? I am noob in overclocking, so need some help :D

The latency would be lower if you use the Cas latency provided with this kit set to CL16 instead of CL18.

You can use the site's latency counter before making changes.

I've tried using CL16. However, this works only on speed of 3000 and less, which isn't great. I think 3600 and CL18 will be better than 3000 and CL16

better yes, ideal, no. The kit should work at its intended profile. Seems your particular system doesnt like this kit of memory.

Well. I've got Kingston fury beast 2x32 (KF3200C16D4/32GX). I thought they'll be good, but as you can see they are not. I am almost 100% sure that first 5 timings are on their maximum, cuz if I set them lower I get bsods or the system doesn't even start. I am thinking now about secondary and other timings, because I didn't play with them too much, as it is really time consuming. I hear something about CAD Busses as well, but I haven't found any info about how to set up them.

What voltage are they running when you try to lower the cas latency or timings, you may need to set it manually, 1.35-1.45 should be where you're at, start low and keep adding 0.01 in increments until you're stable eg 1.35, 1.36, 1.37 etc they should be able to run their xmp profile and timings without too much fiddling

I use 1.36 voltage, as it gives me the maximum temperature of 48

Yes, memory tuning is no fun especially if you already have issues with the kit. I'm guessing the 64gb is a little heavy on the memory controller.

CAD busses should be fine otherwise. These settings don't change performance much, and sometimes, (most times) causes more instability. So not worth your time in my opinion.

Seems you are stuck with wider timings due to the amount of ram. Yes some people have better experiences with the same kit, but might have a stronger memory controller.

Latency doesn't matter as much with X3D.

Read through this:

And consider if fiddling with timings and testing stability is worth your time. Honestly, if you don't see WHEAs error or warnings I wouldn't waste my time on memory OC unless you really need the bandwidth.
