Overwatch Laggy After Switching Monitors?

System specs are Windows 10, i5-7500, 8GB DDR4, RX580 8GB. I switched from an LG 25UM58-P 2560x1080 monitor to a Samsung 32" 1920x1080 Smart TV. Why does my game feel laggy and slow now? I would expect it to be working BETTER since it's less pixels. Before, I had great performance with no lag.

The television just produces way more input lag, maybe check for a "gaming mode".

Almost all TV's are slower than gaming monitors, game mode may only work with certain inputs (HDMI 1 or 2) and other features disabled (sports mode, maybe PC mode, etc)

As that stuff varies per TV, we cant help a lot there
