OWC announced today the availability of its refreshed OWC Drive Dock. Designed to be the ultimate high-performance tool for creative workflows, backup or other tasks requiring constant access to multiple drives, the OWC Drive Dock delivers a compact and easy solution with exceptional performance.
The OWC Drive Dock supports up to two, simultaneous drives and connects to any Mac or PC with the latest USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port for data rates of up to 981 MB/s; or connects to any Mac or PC with an available standard USB port for data rates of up to 522 MB/s. This new dock can support both 2.5-inch drives, 3.5-inch drives, a combination of both, and can even RAID drives together for data redundancy or performance. The OWC Drive Dock includes an auto-switching internal power supply compatible with a standard dual-prong power cable and no extra power block.
