I just ordered a ASUS Maximus IV Extreme yesterday from New Egg. They got 10 in and I was one of the lucky ones to get one.... I would say.... go for that board if you can. I have owned allot of EVGA Boards... Asus Boards and Gigabyte Boards. While Gigabyte is and always will be my favorite... I can tell you that Asus is a close second. Plus when I switched from my P55 SLI MOB to a Asus Maximus Formula 3 MOB..... I could definitely see a quality difference. While EVGA Has the great customer service that will back you up on everything.... The ASUS board....was definitely a much much better quality!

I'll take Gigabyte all day, from the UD5 on up. I just was leary of the platform and didn't know if I'd stay with it, so I bought the Biostar board instead of investing more. I don't regret it. The Biostar TP67XE is a surprising gem. I do think that I'll end up selling it sooner or later, just because I've had the best luck with Gigabyte over the last couple of generations, probably when everyone has all of their B3 revisions out and prices stabilize.

Just ordered the WS Revolution since they finally came in. :D

$274.10 w/ Shipping.

Versus the original $321 for the UD7...

And I honestly see no advantages of the UD7 over the WS Revolution.
Both use the NF200 chipset which is what I was mainly looking for.

Superbiiz.

I was originally planning on ordering it from Directron since they're located right out of Houston and I could have done a local pick-up since I live an hour away, but when I called them they said they only planned on getting 2 in, estimated by tomorrow, and is first come first serve.
And they would have put a tax on it which would have made it atelast $300.. :/

But when I found out Superbiiz had it listed, I quickly submitted my order. :D

It's also listed on Ebay for ~$330.
I'm sure a bunch of places will be getting them in within a day or so.
But for how long will they be in stock? Unknown! ;)

I was about to order a 2600K, GB UD7, and some new RAM when they announced the recall. Upgraded to a 1090T in the meantime (honestly a pretty impulsive upgrade since I don't utilize 6 threads). Guess I'll stick it out a tad longer until they can hold stock for longer than a few days on the performance boards, and make my choice.

And they, like most other sites, tax CA. Wonderful.
