Ok moderator , i will comply.I admit this is a better forum than most , that's why i insisted here i want proof , i don't go on xtremesystems to ask proof because there most of them are proud overclockers that battle in non-existent numbers and edited screenshots.
They can spend hours benchmarking and overclocking and posting results on forums or making reviews but they never spend a minute recording a clip to prove those numbers.
This dissease of playing with numbers affect reviewrs too , a lot of reviews on the net that are different from one website to another , one is saying 4870 is better and another says gtx260 is better , it would be intresting if they could do that review recorded , like that saying, a picture worth a million words in this situation a clip worth a million screenshots and graphs.
Until the reviews start recording this stuff and making the procces as free of doubt there will be fans saying this is better or that is better.
With this i close my intervention here and appologise to tatty if i offended him in any way , maybe his clocks are real.

So the rumor of people having 800 GPU clocks on unmodded cards still goes on and people still get one of these cards and say they got a poor clocker , i knew you wouldn't do it.
Believe me people , they all lie , they never had 800 mhz on a 4850 stabily , just furmark but never a game.
I want to believe you and all the other that claim this speed but no one had any real proof , a screnshot doesn't represent a proof in this days.
Youtube have some HD feature now Wile E and what do i have to say about a clip that shows me all that ?

I am sorry you feel that way, but what you ask I am afraid is unreasonable, I AM gaming on COD World at war @ 800mhz, hey it may not run in crysis at those speeds....I never said it would but as I dont own crysis it's totally irrelivant to me. There was no silence, check when my last post was UK time last night, I went out with my family for a meal, came back late, went to bed (yes I am a father and grandfather so I have a family) logged on this morning and posted, you I am afraid need a swift injection of observational skills.

thats crazy and 6-7mins is nothing to check if its stable I haven played crysis but not on this gpu the game was boring look nice but wasnt for me

Well, having read some instructions on Rivatuners hardware monitor and how to enable it's OSD (very handy little tool) and with the help of FRAPS I played COD world at War for a while and using FRAPS I video'd it, not waterproof by any means but you will see top left the GPU and memory speeds of the screen capture I took whilst watching the video in Windows media player 11, you can clearly see the player and that this is part of the video, I cannot post the video as for about 20 minutes gameplay it took almost 2gig of space!

As I said, not absolute proof, but those that know me well enough will realise hopefully that I am a man of my word.

This was done on my normal 24/7 settings, quad running at 4gig, 1920 x 1200 resolution, all settings maxed.....AA @ 4x.

You can even see the date on the right hand side in the "playlist".

They are moded cards from the factory....NON REFERENCE.

They are not the design AMD sent out the door to use. There for they can clock higher than other cards using the same gpu.


I don't know why you are calling them lairs. Maybe they do that on other websites, but not on TPU. It's a pretty honest group of people.
XS IMO does not lie either, they just don't play games. Also photo shoppers normally get busted because people know how to add up scores. Even more so at XS. You do that and your going to get busted and look like a fool IMO.

Largan made a post the other day. PALiT could of done this card even better. He said that the way the voltage comes in could of been better. BUT they use higher class parts that you don't get from a normal video card design. That's what palit uses and that's why he can hit this 800mhz clock on stock volts. We do this for fun, and most of us don't play games that take it that far.

This is my machine ATM you know what I do on it 99% of the time. Read websites, watch movies and not gaming. Just ask my friends on teampalit that I play online with. They see me 1 time a month if that.....I play more stupid flash games in firfox/ie than anything.

I'm about to add 2 more cards and I will run it like that doing what I just said above lol.

I don't see the point in you making any more arguments here until this is done. The only reason this thread needs to be locked is because of you coming in here and harrasing other members. Do not post in this thread anymore. Proof will come.. and if it doesn't, well perhaps you can then sit back with a sense of self satisfaction knowing you were right. Well TBH.....for me in these forums with a regular member, evidence like I posted in post 85 would do me but if others want a 30 minute video of a stripped down PC etc etc, thats their business.

Anyways I am having a bit of trouble with my first crossfire rig, i cannot complete a run overclocking the cards outside of CCC for some reason, i get a DX error box come up within the first few seconds, even overclocking in Rivatuner at speeds less than CCC's max gives the same results so it's not the overclock, so at the moment am capped in overdrive at 735mhz on the 2 cards, here is a tentative first run at 735, my CPU is just at my 24/7 speed of 4gig, she will bench at 4.4gig so am hoping for at least 23,000 eventually..ohhh and this is in Vista also.......hopefully more to come!

Hmmmmm this went up a bit, still cannot sort this overdrive/rivatuner issue so still locked on 735mhz But this has already well surpassed my GTX260 with slower CPU and Vista.
