Ok I bought a palit 768mb gtx 460 about 2 months ago. All was running fine until about 3 weeks ago when it started freezing on opening windows 7. The system boots up fine, it lets me enter my password and begins to load windows, then it freezes on the welcome to windows page. I'm pretty certain that the problem is the card itself or something to with the card because if I switch to the integrated GPU on my mobo everything boots fine and there are no freezes. I've tried a fair few things with the card, I've taken it out and done a complete clean install where ive used driver cleaner to get rid of all my drivers etc. I've even flashed the BIOS to what a PALIT rep tells me is the newest version for my card and nothing has changed. On the rare occasion that I can boot fully with the 460 everything appears to run fine including intensive games like crysis warhead and metro 2033. Is there anything I can do or should I just RMA the card??

Shame.

I thought that I might have to RMA it. I was just seeing if there is anything I can do about it because I can't RMA it at the moment because I can't afford to go home from uni and get the boxes and my receipt. I'll speak to the shop I bought it from to see if I can return it via mail despite me buying it instore. If I can I'll get my family to ship me the packaging and the receipt.
