gtx 550ti use arround 140w so not possible unless you've got a big heatsink for it and even then you need lots of case fans to compensate.
Better look for a custom cooler with a big heatsik and low speed fans best combination imho.

so passive cooling is not a good idea .that zotac edition is 160$ +tax. :banghead:

That zotac its an extremely shitty card it have ddr3 instead of gddr5 much lower clocks etc and even the normal gddr5 version it vas bad for its time.

True , I don't want to change my card , cause I really like my gtx 550 Ti . I am thinking about building a silent pc .now I have 1 x 120mm fan and 2 x 80mm fans in case .total 6 fans are running ,1 in gpu other in cpu and the other one in PSU .lots of noise :banghead:

get silent fans. depending on where you live i can mod your PC if u want me to.
