Patriot Memory, a global provider of premium quality memory module and flash memory solutions, today announced the Lite Series SSD storage solutions. Available in both 32GB and 64GB capacities, these upgrade solutions are designed specifically for the ASUS Eee PCs.

Lite Series 32GB and 64GB SSDs are compatible with the ASUS 900, 900 16G, 900A, 901 and 1000 Series Eee PCs. The Lite Series SSDs will be shipping the week of October 20th, 2008.

That's standard SATA, both data and power. It comes without the cover for the ports.

it's not sata it's mini pci conector.

and all laptop can use it.

Thats a mini PCI-E Slot HDD, and its not DRAM. If it was DRAM you'd see the memory dissappear every time you power off the system. These seem to be multi-cell chips and I don't think they'd perform as fast as the stock SSDs.

If this thing turns out to be speedy I'll probably buy it; 64GB is nice.
