Nice to see other companies taking note of HyperX's successful Cloud line and starting to build better more durable frames but, if both the mic and the main line are not detachable, it'll just break internally. Thus begins another cycle of buying new headsets.

I've branched away from gamer headsets since I got a Yeti mic. There is just little point in spending over $100 for a gamer headset. Especially when the fake surround is linked to an in line sound card. You can plug any headphone into that and get the same effect. Buy a decent tabletop mic, get a little usb fake surround card if you want it (Hyper X sells them on their part store), then get whatever headphone you want. There are lots of good quality headphones that have detachable audio lines for under $50.
