Finished my all new build tonight.

Started with a simple CPU loop in my Antec 300 for an E8500 and thought it time to expand.
Everything went smoothly except the local metal finisher took longer than expected. So, I got to stare at all the new components for a good week before I got started. It was worth it.

Case: Lian-Li PC-P50
CPU: i7 940
Memory: Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX 480
Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D-E
HDD: WD 500GB
ODD: Plextor DVD-RW

Cooling

Res: XSPC 5.25" Dual Bay Res/Pump
Pump: 2x Swiftech MCP355
Radiator: XSPC RX120 and RX240
Blocks: EK SUpreme HF Nickle+Plexi and EK GTX 480 Nickle+Plexi
Tubing: Tygon 3/8ID 5/8OD
Coolant: F1 UV BLue
Fans: 3x Scythe Gentle Typhoon

Loop Config:

Res-> Pump-> CPU -> RX120-> Res-> Pump-> GTX480-> RX240

Some pics after many hours :)

The case freshly anodized. Notice the shameful sweaty palm prints....

Block installed on Motherboard.

Block on GPU...yay!

Majority of the hard stuff finished.

Top view.

Done.

UV at work.

What do ya think?

Gonna stress it later. Idle temps are a balmy 33C on GPU and 31C on CPU. :) Ambient room is 73F

Tried out overclocking the GTX 480. Mine seems to have a road block after 895Mhz no matter the voltage running OCCT with error checking. Final OC was 890Mhz GPU and 2000Mhz Memory @ 1.138V rock solid on OCCT for ten minutes topping out at 60C.

Ran Unigine 2.1 for performance comparison.

Left is stock right is OC.

Max temp was 51C during GPU OC. Stock max temps during Unigine are around 46C. CPU stock topped out at 46C.

Don't know if I want to start playing around with the processor. Seems plenty fast.

Got some better results off the GTX 480 after spending more time with it. Was able to slightly increase the core frequency and significantly bump up the memory with less voltage.

Made a twenty minute OCCT GPU run w/ error checking.

900 Mhz is so close... but not worth going past 1.138. I still get an error or two even with 1.138 or 1.125 with stock memory frequencies unfortunately.
