PC Rebooting when table slammed + Rift S problems

Hello, my PC has been upgraded since I have last been on the forum. This build has a problem when my table is hit hard enough the PC will perform a boot cycle. This can also be triggered when certain devices (Like my Oculus Rift S) have also caused this.
I believe that the motherboard is faulty, as I have reconnected power supply connections from the motherboard with the same problem.
My primary issue with the Rift S is when the headset is connected and I see the "Oculus isn't working correctly" notification with the sensor symbol. There has been a support ticket filed with all steps completed for troubleshooting with no improvement. I have also reconnected the cable and reinstalled the Oculus app twice.
I believe that my motherboard's warranty has expired.

You've got mechanical hard drive probably used as a system drive. You slam your table hard enough the vibration might get passed on to the PC and the drive.

Your system specs say "Seagate 2TB Barracuda, Sandisk SSD Plus 480GB (not installed)". That to me says "Only Seagate 2TB Barracuda", which most people assume is the very popular ST2000DM006, a 2TB seagate barracuda. But there is also the SSD with the exact same name.

Some cable isn't seated right so when you slam your desk it comes loose for a second. Maybe the reset button is faulty. It could even be the PSU.

Similar case on mine, one of my old machines PSU cable has some bad parts now that touching the cables around will cause the system to crash

This or some loose PSU cable is shorting with the case.

I have reconnected some cables. Should I do some at the PSU end as well? I can also reconnect my SATA drives or do some testing without them.

Contact spray can help wonky connections a little bit, but in a general sense, once something's come loose that usually can't, fiddling with it won't make things better, quite the opposite: it is on its way out whether you like it or not. Its all bendy plastic and metal and every bend weakens it.

For future... place your rig/case not on your desk but below it, or in a separate cage somewhere not connected to your desk. Don't go silly with vibration dampening on your desk to quick fix it, because as a DJ using turntables I can tell you right now if your desk can vibrate, it will pass that on to whatever is on it. Moving the rig is going to be an easier task than changing your habit of punching desk. I think

I highly doubt this is a fault with the motherboard. If not a loose or dirty cable connection (and yes, check both ends of all - data, power and front panel case - cables), I would suspect a light return spring on the case's Reset button. It could be worn and weakened though normal use or just by design since PCs are not intended for high-vibration locations like, perhaps, a notebook might be.

My advice is to move the PC to a safe location on the floor. By safe, I mean away from swinging, walking and kicking feet. If the floor is carpeted, you MUST elevate the PC to allow cool air to circulate underneath. I use a plank of wood. If you don't have any scrap board wood you can cut to size, you can get a dedicated computer stand/caddy. Or you can get pre-cut and finished boards at your local home improvement store in the shelfing section.

As a side bonus for your computer, ambient temperatures tend to be cooler near the floor.
