Hi,
I know this my be a stupid and/or silly question but, i'll ask it nonetheless.
I would like to know in depth the PCI-Express difference between GTX 680 and GTX 680 Mac Edition.
TechPowerUp states that the 'normal' GTX 680 is PCI-Express 3.0 x16 » https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-680.c342 , while the Mac Edition is PCI-Express 2.0 x16 » https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-680-mac-edition.c2323
So, what's the REAL difference here? Is it just VGA-BIOS related, or is it some other hardware change?
Thank you for reading, hope someone can shed a light about this subject.
Cheers!
