I finally received my W5500's, ( i only ordered one lol, one came by mistake). GPU-Z info does not show up correctly with the Radeon Pro W5500

Yes indeed. And this card is faster than my RX 570 8GB, and Radeon Pro WX 7100.

I have a theory, what do you see in advanced tab, there should be some reporting of base/game/boost clocks etc

20.8 drivers or latest enterprise drivers show this on the main screen. Just thought it would show the real information on general card section. I also check out GPU Caps Viewer , same thing. No big deal i guess, just thought you should know.

Card is only an 8x card it won't run more then that. The card is a 4.0 x8 card. Its Wired for 8x operation it can't run at 16x cause its not wired that way.

That comment read like one of my essays where I'm just trying to fill the word count. You wrote one sentence (It's an x8 card, it cannot run x16) 3 times, and the last sentence even repeated the info twice

It's an x8 card so it will not be able to run x16, since it does not have the physical traces to run 16 lanes. The card only has 8 lanes available, and as such can be classified as 'x8', instead of the more common 'x16' lane count that standard GPUs of today have. The wires, or traces as they're known as, add up to 8, instead of 16. This is because it's only wired for x8 operation: meaning there are only a total of 8 traces on the card, instead of the more usual 16-based amount of wires more commonly seen in the graphics processing card market. The result of this is that it runs with 8 lanes, instead of the more common 16-lane configuration, which means the program will only report x8 operation, because there are only 8 traces, instead of 16." :laugh:
