[WTB][US] Pentium 4 400/533 FSB

I need a upgrade CPU for a office machine, looking to purchase a Pentium 4 and mabey some DDR RAM.Since it is a lowly 845 intel board it only takes Socket 478, 400/533FSB and only up to 2.8Ghz.

Right now it has a measly celery processor, and 512MB of RAM.

I have a P4 1.8GHz/400 at home, but someone else might be able to find you a better chip. If not, $10 shipped in the US lower 48?

I would like something at 2.4 or so, right now the celery and low memory are causing the PC to crap out when spooling large print jobs, running her crappy internet radio, e-mail and a few 5250 sessions for data entry.

I have a 2.6Ghz celery but a 400Mhz bump in celery speed is like a 200mhz bump in real life.

They don't want to replace it, or have me move her profile onto our main server to actually use it........stupid.

I have a Pentium 4 s478 2.8GHz/512/533/1.525v SL6HL (C1) if you are interested. Tested working yesterday on ASUS P4PE 845PE, passes Linpack fine. I don't have a CPU clamshell to pack it in though, so I would have to improvise on packaging, but PM if interested.
