The Phanteks Eclipse P200A ITX is both the smallest and most affordable product of the Eclipse line. It still features the fine metal mesh and continues to focus on steel as opposed to plastic as a material, but also has a few nifty surprises within, which one would not expect from an enclosure that costs $50 in today's tariff-burdened market.

The product is fair for the price, the problem I think is only the ITX mb support, it is preferable to buy for example a Cooler Master MasterBox MB400L+ the additional fan at the same price ($50) and get the support for mATX motherboard (dimensions are comparable:210x410x410) in order not to pay the ITX premium and have more choices.

Maybe it can fit some microatx boards? Cooler Master NR200 can fit ones up to 244mm x 226mm, problem is all boards in this size are very entry level. (EDIT: Actually this applies only to AMD boards, there are some nice Intel ones)

I want to make a semi-passive silence focused build with a 280mm gfx card and 160mm cpu cooler, but with a slightly larger mATX board there is no much choice besides some china only cases.

Aerocool has two cases with full mATX support (or 4 with different front panels) that are smaller than this Phanteks.
CS-106 - no front mesh/CS-107 - acrylic side panel :( and Trinity Mini/Atomic Lite. Thinking about getting Trinity Mini.

Awww, this case is cute! No, really, I actually REALLY like it! You get A LOT for $50 ($65 for the RGB one) -- and it's Phanteks so you know it's a quality case!

You can't even fit the extra shitty 3-slot skinny-mATX boards like the B450M-K from Colorful. All of those skinny mATX boards still are wider than the mITX mounting holes, and this case has a protruding cable management channel that'll stop you from fitting wider than ITX boards. The best you can do is a DTX Asus C8I.

If you're looking for a compact ITX case this ain't it champ. 29.93L "ITX" case LMAO

To be fair, you can't have everything at once. You want long graphics card support and tall air cooler support, that's going to count against your volume. You want 240 rad support, that's going to count against your volume. You don't want a sandwich case, that's going to count against your volume. On the other hand, you can very well have a compact mATX case that's smaller, but there goes your tall cooler (possibly) and rad support.

I have such mixed feelings about this case — 240 + 280 radiator support on the front and side, 2x120 bottom and 1x 120 top, itx @ 30L, $50, pretty great airflow (PSU aside)... It’s something for everyone and no one at all.

Maybe Phanteks is just trying to make itx mainstream with a budget case? Itx is still pretty niche, and I can’t imagine matx boards have ever sold well, never mind major manufacturers barely touching either form factor in any meaningful way (except for Silverstone maybe lian-li shout out to those weirdos).

I'm happy to see a case like this so it's almost but not quite what I want. I think one thing that people are overlooking is with an ITX board because the graphics card technically hangs below the motherboard you have to have space to accommodate for up to three slot cards. If you were to keep the PSU on the bottom it would effectively choke and potentially fight the rearmost fan on your GPU if flipped. I've been against power supply shrouds and watching 120 mm fans just blow air into this funnel has been sad but it's amplified with ITX. Effectively this case has 120 mm exhaust fans if you have one of those power supplies that runs the fan all the time. I'll probably get one just to test some ideas. I kind of want to try a front rad intake and side exhaust maybe with a shroud and then two intake fans on the bottom, horizontal GPU, then a 120mm the rear. The mesh side panel coming without USB C is a bit disappointing. I have a 9700k on an MSI board just waiting for a case and power supply. I was looking at the LianLi TU150 and MetallicGear Neo Mini V2. The former would have to be air cooled and require an sfx power supply and the latter is only suitable for two slot cards. The real hope is Fractal would release an ITX version of the Meshify C with a top mount PSU and try to lower the depth of the case. Only knock on the p400a is really the weight but it's pretty hard to knock at the price point.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
That looks great for a $50 option but it annoys me that they went to the trouble of making it big enough for triple-wide GPUs and didn't add the extra 15mm needed to make this an mATX case.

Ordered Sama IM01 / Krux Naos / Itek evoke. I have a 155mm CPU cooler so it should be fine.
