Phase Change

I have known about phase change cooling for some time now, ive wanted to do it but seeing what the units cost really makes me uneasy. 900 dollars for th VapoChill LS! So I have thought about actually making my own for these reasons.
1. I want to learn more about it :D
2. I it is cheaper?!?! :confused:
3. It could be fun :roll:
4. Insane clocks at sub zero temps :rockout:
Plus for my next case mod project, i'd biold it right into the chassis. Can anyone reccomend any good tutorials, information, anything about this?

First time, its far from cheaper. ;)
Theres a lot to learn before you build one.

And no, you will most definatly not be able to build your first phase change into
your case, as it will probably be very messy ;)

ok well then what would any of you suggest as a good phase cooler? ive been wanting a VapoChill LS. But i hate the price. POGE had mentioned something about chilly1 but i did a google search and i really cant find anything on how to get them. i think i found something that said they are $500 but i dont know. I know they are custom made models too.

To get a chilly1 go to www.xtremesystems.org/forums, search for the member chilly1, and send him a private message asking for a phase change cooler. :)

Avoid Chilly1 completely. THere are alot of people out there owed alot of things by him. You'd be better off spending more money on a commercially available unit that you would actually get after you paid for it. In fact, I would advise against using XS for anything since they are the biggest pompous asses out there. If anything, try Extreme Overclocking Forums as they have a reallly good sections on Phase change and you can get ALOT of useful info there.
