pheeenom or phehnom?

    I''m having an arguement as to how it's pronounced. dictionary.com says "fee-nom" and "fi-nom", and wikipedia just has the latter. I'm with the long E, but the guy I'm argueing with says it should sound like venom.

    i believe its pronounced "finom" as in phenomenal which means exceedingly or unbelievably great :D

    There is no question about it.... It is fee' nom. Its supposed to be short for phenomenal.

    Maybe it's puh-hee-noe-mmmm.

    Ok ... maybe not. It's either fee-nom or fih-nom, as in phenomenal.

    I am not sure I would go out on a limb by naming a product like that.
    What if it's not so phenomenal?
