Great price, how would one of those compare to my e6550?...I'm wanting to go back to AMD soo bad, but don't want to lose performance.

Thats a large drop. And I know how you feel. Was a huge AMD fan all my life then they just stopped making good chips :ohwell:

I know, Christmas came around, and I had a choice between a 6400+ and an E6750. I chose Intel....you broke my heart AMD.. :cry:

I used that chip on a Abit AN-M2 board. That runs very cool. At default speed its crap. but once you OC to 2.6 it takes off. But still not good as Equivalent intel offerings. But there is 3 cores - thats how AMD plays their game now.

Nice deal tho. hmm so Frys will also reduce their price on OEM chip + ECS combo. I will get one of those then.

The 9550 has been 160$ for awile now. The tri's just dropped in price today/yesterday depending on where you live right now.
