So this is a dual 4K (one for each eye) HMD that looks fairly interesting. You can find it on kickstarter. I would post a link to it here but I don't want to promote it. I was just trying to make people aware of it. There is an interview link on youtube:

I saw news about this awhile back. Really cool stuff. Just bought a rift back in July and now I guess I should have bought this instead.
Idk, maybe I could sell my rift and buy one of these, but they are defiantly more expensive but the higher res would probably be worth it. Defiantly will need a beefy gpu though

Let me know when you get home i would like to know. It's passed 2.2mil on kick starter. I just want to find more info on it.

It was more that they were asking about running it, which right now a single 1080ti can run 4k pretty well, but two 4k? Doubt it.

4K and at least a constant 90FPS requirement. When you crank up the details most GPU will just crap out.
