Please help me identify this fake GTX 1050 Ti. Fortunately I received my money back, but would like to load the proper BIOS to see if its usable. Thanks...
The GPU is easily identifiable as a GF116, it has eight Samsung K4G10325FE-HC04 memory chips (4 on the front and 4 on the back.) The card was marketed as GTX1050ti 4GB 128 Bit.

Thanks GTX1050Ti.JPGIMG_5630.jpgIMG_5631.jpgIMG_5632.jpgIMG_5633.jpg

Thanks... I was thinking it’s 2Gb, since the ram chips are 1Gb with 32 bit structure according to the Samsung data sheet and with 8 chips in a 128 bit arrangement it might be a total of 2Gb?

So I decided to use the dos version of nvflash. I made a DOS bootable USB with that version of nvflash on it. I figured I would try to backup the fake BIOS from the Fake card first. However, I says no Nvidia card found. I exchanged that fake card for a known good XFX GT610, without changing my process, that is, did every step the same, with that card I can read the Eprom etc. Any ideas why I get no Nvidia card on the fake GTX1050?

Thanks...

This video explains how to flash the correct BIOS. It seems you won't be able to do so with NVflash.

1Gb(Gigabit) = .125GB(Gigabyte)
.125GB(Gigabyte) x 8 = 1GB(Gigabyte)
